We are proud of our achievements in vessel retrofitting and repair. To date, we have successfully completed 25 such ventures, encompassing an array of vessels including bulk carriers, tankers, and container ships. Our team’s proficiency spans the design of piping systems, design of equipment foundations and making hull modifications, all adhering to the strictest class approval standards. We have a growing competency in the concept design of marine assets. Concept design of an LNG-powered container feeder barge concept, design of inland vessel for transport of carbon capture storage system and design of a flat-top barge are some of the concept designs developed to date.
As we look to the future, Fusie Engineers is dedicated to substantial investment in ship design and detailing. Our current team of skilled naval architects, structural designers, and piping designers, will be further strengthened with the addition of electrical and HVAC expertise in Q2 2024. This expansion is a strategic move towards forming an exceptionally capable team, poised to develop pioneering ship designs.
Our existing expertise in the design of piping systems, equipment foundations and steel structural design/modifications can also be applied for retrofits, upgrades or building of a new an onshore plant such as a refinery or chemical plant.
Our approach is client-centric, ensuring each project is tailored to meet the unique requirements of our clients. Depending on whether the project is a repair, retrofit or newbuild, we begin by crafting a basis of design document and preparing a concept general arrangement drawing. Initial sketches, concept 3D models are prepared to kick start the engineering process.
For repair and retrofit projects, by leveraging state-of-the-art CAD software and LIDAR 3D scanning technology, we bring precision to every project. Our ability to perform accurate 3D scans of vessels, jetties, or industrial plants allows us to place major equipment and route piping systems with the utmost precision, ensuring zero clashes & optimal integration.
Post the design freeze, our team dedicates itself to creating detailed fabrication DWGs, isometrics, spool drawings, Material Take Offs (MTOs), and comprehensive installation drawings. This meticulous process ensures that every aspect is accounted for, facilitating smooth fabrication and installation.
